The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe will have its land taken from a federal trust, and disestablished by the Trump administration. Remember, Trump has rather strong feelings about Native Americans, especially Native Americans with plans to build a casino, and of course Native Americans who, “Don’t look like Indians,” to him. So, in the midst of a pandemic, Trump took vengeance upon the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, who call themselves, People of the First Light, by taking their land. The Trump administration’s treatment of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, would even piss off Pilgrims, who knew a thing or two about witch hunts.
