It may come as a shock to some, however it seems Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ted Cruz, are working together in order to keep lawmakers from lobbying. This is what elected officials should do, set aside Party affiliation, and work together for the good of the American people. In Washington, D.C. where cannibalism is more acceptable than collaboration, lawmakers uniting for America, seems as if it were a thing of the past, like floppy disks or facts. Yet, Ocasio-Cortez and Cruz are ready to work together.
The real shock, is that someone is actually willing to work with Ted Cruz. It’s refreshing to see fortitude, in a landscape completely barren of resolve to work with Cruz, who was born in Calgary, Canada, and is rumored to be a banned Canadian export. Diplomatic negotiations, for Canada to take Cruz back permanently, have failed for decades. So, like an unwanted barge of sulfur excreting waste, he slops within the Republican party. Ocasio-Cortez may want to belly up to the bar, after working with this climate change denier. To halt the lawmaker to lobbyist corporate pipeline of corruption, Ocasio-Cortez is truly going the distance for team America. She is a profile in courage.
