Versailles ’73: American Runway Revolution

Deborah Riley Draper created an outstanding documentary film, Versailles ’73: American Runway Revolution, about an epic fashion event that took place November 28, 1973 at the Chateau de Versailles, in which American designers overthrew French designers with an irrefutable fashion triumph.

At the helm of the style conquest in France was Stephen Burrows, a bold, creative American designer, who left an indelible impact on French couture.

Versailles ’73: American Runway Revolution, is a film every fashion lover must experience.
