Take a moment and think about something you’ve done that was total embarrassing

Most humans do something embarrassing. Take a moment and think about something you’ve done that was totally absolutely embarrassing…

Unfortunately, I have amassed an indefinite number of embarrassing moments from which to select. Refer to the 2015 film, Vacation, when Debbie Griswold, played by the amazing Christina Applegate (love her so damn much), visits her college alma mater and unwisely attempts to re-live her college party days, as an amplified example of an embarrassing moment on my life resume thus far.

Maybe you totally botched a debate on a worldwide stage, showed your ass by flying the US flag upside down at your home, or had a public “Karen” level meltdown. Alas, no matter what your embarrassing moments are in life, no matter how painfully humiliating they may be, just remember this: Republicans who are still pledging and still actively pushing their loyalty for Donald Trump are absolutely embarrassing themselves.

Imagine pledging loyalty to the guy who engaged a violent coup to overthrow America’s democracy because he lost an election and his ego refused to accept it – a violent coup witnessed by the entire world. Loyalty to the guy who refused the peaceful transfer of power, stole confidential documents, then shared the information with America’s enemies. That guy. The 34 count convicted felon guy. The guy who wanted to buy Greenland. Yes, remember that – the guy wanted to fucking buy Greenland. The upside down Bible guy at Lafayette Park who is currently selling Bibles. The guy who called America’s military losers and suckers. That guy. The guy who calls jailed insurrectionists, “hostages.” That fucking guy.

Donald Trump’s ass is the hill Republicans are still choosing to die on…and it’s an embarrassment for the ages. All of which history is recording. No wonder Republicans want to stop the teaching of history and ban books. Republicans are betting that it won’t matter if they are caught on the wrong side of history, because history will be what they makeup, not what actually happened. Just like the deleted text messages during the coup, Republicans want their part in history deleted too.

Republicans are not the Roys. The Roys are fictional characters inspired by Rupert Murdoch’s arrogant Aussie adventures in America. Republicans are actual politicians inspired by Donald’s ego to end democracy in America. Republicans are embarrassing themselves with their loyalty to Donald…a lying, liberty denying, loquacious, loser.
