Racism is kinda like a forever chemical, a man made toxin infiltrating daily elements humans routinely come into contact with. Similar to forever chemicals, racism is not easily broken down and has seeped into the bloodstream of society, exposing generations to its dangerous toxicity levels over time. However, unlike forever chemicals, racism has been circulating for centuries, whereas forever chemicals date back to the 1940’s. Forever chemicals won’t immediately kill you, but racism certainly can. Precautions may be taken to avoid forever chemicals – racism is more insidious – especially when racism is not acknowledged and educating about racism is not encouraged.
