Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves proclaims April Confederate Heritage Month…as in this current month of April happening right now in the year 2022…honoring the Confederacy. Tate also declared April Genocide Awareness Month. Honoring slavery and genocide: a what the fuck moment for most folks and a singing Dixie moment for Tate. Quick reminder, Tate is the same guy who says there is no systemic racism in America.
Let us not forget the Confederacy, the traitors who fought against America and for slavery, this is what Tate is proclaiming honorable, right now in 2022. Apparently, you can take the Confederate out of the state flag but not out of the great state of Mississippi.
Tate praised his proclamation saying that it is bipartisan. At one time in America slavery was also bipartisan yet, slavery eventually ended, as should proclamations honoring the Confederacy.
“Our position is thoroughly identified with the institution of slavery — the greatest material interest of the world.” Mississippi, 1861 Secession Ordinance
