In Alabama’s Mobile River, remains of the Clotilda, a slave ship which transported Africans captured and forced into slavery, was discovered. National Geographic, conducted consequential reporting on the Clotilda, it is a story everyone should read, understand, and share. America’s history of slavery cannot be ignored, diminished, or romanticized. The nation must acknowledge America’s wealth and dominance, was established and built primarily on the enslavement of human beings, whom were abducted and forced into slavery – realize and appreciate the palpable impact still endured as a direct result of slavery.
