A Man, Vernon Jordan

Vernon Jordan started the State of Black America, and during his 85 years on the planet he worked to advance Black people. Mr. Jordan paved the way for Black people with his work in corporate America, at the White House, the United Negro College Fund, the National Urban League, and the NAACP. Moreover, his tireless dedication to protect our right to vote, and advance equality, was a focal point. Mr. Jordan was a civil rights blueprint, and his work must be continued, as our right to vote is still suppressed. We honor, appreciate, and respect Mr. Vernon Jordan, who was indeed a helluva man.
