On January 6, the peaceful transfer of power in America was violently threatened by Republican, Donald Trump, who refused to accept defeat and leave the Oval Office. After years of being accused of assaulting women, Donald decided to assault the nation’s capital. The horror and trauma from January 6 has not disappeared – the pain from that day has not gone away.
Donald’s lie destroyed the legitimacy of the Republican Party, whose members, in large part, still refuse to accept, acknowledge, or take action to protect democracy from the perpetrator responsible for the pain. Like sadistic, soulless sheep, Republicans have embraced the cult of Donald, over the US Constitution.
America was attacked by one of its own Presidents on January 6. Acknowledge it and hold those responsible, accountable.
