Honoring the 100th anniversary of the birth of James Baldwin, born on August 2, 1924. The National Portrait Gallery created a celebration of James Baldwin titled, “This Morning, This Evening, So Soon: James Baldwin and the Voices of Queer Resistance.” It is on view July 12 through April 20, 2025.
