The subjective perceptions of a few are being forced upon the reality the rest of us live in.
The psyops campaign is in full effect.
These tactics seem to be working on politicians and pundits, however regular Americans aren’t fooled.
Americans are smarter than the media or millionaires may think.
Media coverage is more morbid than usual. You can’t watch anyone on any network without hearing an almost ‘death watch’ scenario unfold as politicians and pundits offer their armchair judgement on President Joe Biden’s state of mind and how long he may have to live. No one is promised tomorrow. No one.
As a regular person who’s neither a pundit or politician, it seems that Biden’s debate performance is far more important to them than it is to regular people. The majority of people don’t spend their time judging Biden’s every move and statement. We know for a fact that Biden is old. And we also know for a fact that Biden is going to keep America a democracy. That’s what regular people care about…democracy.
Regular folks in America can’t just say, “I’m not voting,” because Democrats are not doing exactly what I want and relocate to another country because Putin and the Project 2025 gang are in the Oval Office. America is about The People not the plutocrats. The People literally can’t afford for America to fail…we can’t risk losing democracy.
Regular people understand that things change when we age. We get it. Regular people understand that life is filled with gaffes…we all mix up words and we all misspeak. There was much made of President Biden saying “he was the first Black woman to serve with a Black President.” Well hell, based on how President Biden is being treated: having achievements undercut, being continually disrespected, having any and all mistakes magnified exponentially, and having your qualifications constantly questioned…no wonder he feels like a Black woman.
Regular Americans also actually work and actually are working longer. In fact, older Americans are working longer than ever before. For fuck’s sake, there are 80-year-old’s working at Walmart and delivering pizza, while at the same time, Republicans are continually pushing to raise the age of retirement. What gives? Most Americans won’t get a go fund me haul of money because people feel bad. According to the Pew Research Center, the fastest growing age group in America’s workforce is over the age of 75. We get it.
Regular Americans don’t get to pick and choose their next “project” or sit in a make-chair and lament that no one wants to work anymore. Many Americans don’t have retirement savings, so when we see another older American still working and doing an incredible job, we get it. The fact that President Biden is still working does not faze regular Americans. We get it.
So, watching the psyops campaign to divide and conquer democracy by exaggerating President Biden’s glorious gaffe filled life of service is something to watch…that is when Americans are not working.
