As she sat at her kitchen table, hugging two boxes of popsicles that she continually called her children, Katie Britt, PragerU PTA mom and Alabama Republican, delivered a freakishly creepy response to the State of the Union. Watching Katie was like watching an AI infusion of Tracy Flick (the character brought to screen by the bad ass beautiful light of Reese Witherspoon in the 1999 film Election, based on the novel by Tom Perrotta, and Republican Christine O’Donnell (the “I’m not a witch,” Republican, shout out to Kristin Wiig for her SNL performance), complain about books at a Scholastic Book Fair, while handing out ammo wrapped in pages from the Bible.
