Men. Male. Man. Guy. Dude. Bro.

Whether it was #MeToo or the Barbie movie, many men across the nation seem to be struggling with their station…their role in day to day in life. The Barbie movie sparked some men to burn Barbie dolls, while others sought to set the record straight on workplace statistics. Alas, we have bigger problems than a movie about a doll.

Based upon what has and is being said, men felt…feel attacked, displaced, in some ways put down, by the long fought battle for women to have equal standing. Equality that women are still fighting for. No man should be less than, equal is the goal.

Since the election on Tuesday, some men are making some scary concerning statements. Be aware of the statements these men are putting out. Before the election, Tucker Carlson talked about: Daddy coming home to vigorously spank a girl…sure he’s not most men’s model but, the message he’s sending out is hitting home for many. He throws around the descriptors of, bro, beta male, and alpha male, which is kinda funny considering the distain for pronouns.

Women and girls continue to face serious threat. This election all but ensured that women are denied control of our bodies and further placed our safety in peril. The massive danger, current and future generations of girls face, is nothing to downplay.

Teen Vogue reported about the online misogynists that have been given a green light to take “control” and it is alarming.

We cannot normalize this or dismiss it. Here are a few of their statements:

“Your body, my choice. Forever.” Nicholas Fuentes

“Hey bitch, we control your bodies. Guess what? Guys win again, men win again, and yes, we control your bodies.”

“Women threatening sex strikes like LMAO as if you have a say.”

“I saw a woman crossing the road today but I just kept my foot down. Right of way? You no longer have rights.”

“The men are back in charge.”
