Yes, it’s still Black History Month…

An NFL team roster may now be a nepo free zone, however there was a time when the NFL was a Black free zone, meaning no Black players were allowed to play in the NFL. Kenny Washington was one of the guys who changed that.

From joining the LA police department as an officer, to joining history in 1946 as the first Black player in the NFL, Kenny Washington was a pivotal player for the Los Angeles Rams and race relations, who was almost forgotten…almost.
