Josh Gibson is the career batting average all-time leader

Patience is a virtue that Black people seem forced to have. Patience for progress, patience for equality, patience for just about everything. Well, after a long over due integration of Negro League stats into Major League Baseball’s historical records, Josh Gibson is finally the career batting average all-time leader with .372 rising above Ty Cobb’s .366 career batting average. Statisticians and historians worked diligently to accurately achieve the integration of records. Congratulations, Josh Gibson.

Finally.
