Five years ago, Donald Trump attacked America’s democracy because he could not accept losing. We watched as Trump supporters violently attacked our nation’s Capitol.
Hours passed on that wild Wednesday, January 6 while Donald did nothing to stop the violent attack. Donald was informed that his Vice President, Mike Pence, was in danger. Donald’s response to hearing this, “So what?”
So what? Police were being attacked.
So what? Confederate flags and fecal matter were being flung about.
So what? The peaceful transfer of power was disrupted.
So what? Donald pardoned the violent insurrectionists.
So what?
There is no peace in attacking police.
Donald Trump didn’t want peace on January 6, he wanted power.
