Another school year starts with another school shooting

4 lives were violently taken at a Apalachee High School in Georgia today at the hand of a 14-year-old with an assault rifle. That 14-year-old also wounded 9 people.

At schools, grocery stores, movie theaters, concerts, parades, offices, and places of worship, gun violence is destroying lives. Guns have no place in public spaces.

The vast majority of Americans want to ban assault rifles. Gun laws must change. We can make change by voting for people who will implement vital gun safety laws.

You are what you vote for. So, vote for people who will actually do something to stop the epic number of guns in this country. When your house is flooding, you don’t add more water.

America doesn’t need more guns. The data shows more guns will not make the country more safe, more guns is not the answer. Mental health issues are everywhere, guns don’t have to be.

With all the talk about having kids, one would think there would be action about keeping kids safe. Instead of banning books, ban assault rifles.
