Artist Stamps Ahead with Harriet Tubman after Trump Terminates Tubman on $20 bill

Black women are an informed, reliable, voting force to be appreciated and respected, this voting power, united with Americans of all hues, will teach Trump and his Republican accomplices, that their racist actions, anti-woman sentiment, and ill-fated decision to prevent Harriet Tubman from being on United States currency, a lesson in where we put our dollars, more specifically our $20 bills. Trump terminated plans to have Tubman’s image on the $20 bill, thus sealing the quietus of the Republican Party. However, Trump did suggest Tubman appear on the two dollar bill. Guess he simply doesn’t see that a Black woman could ever replace a white man, perhaps that’s ironic foreshadowing.

Hope for Harriet on the $20 bill is not lost. Brooklyn artist, Dano Wall, designed and created a 3D stamp, which literally stamps Tubman’s face over Andrew Jackson’s face. Wall, shared with Joy Reid, on MSNBC, that he believes America is generally a racist society, having long issue with representation and equity, saying, “Currency by virtue of it’s ubiquity, has the power to spread ideas about who we are as a nation and what we represent.” Wall will donate proceeds to civil rights organizations. Shout out to Dano Wall, for honoring Harriet Tubman, on U.S. currency, when Donald Trump would not.
